Objectives

• To undertake independent and objective environmental research.

• To develop environmental technology and information for both the public and private sectors.

• To promote public understanding of important environmental issues through education, training and dissemination of information.

• To provide advisory and technical services on national environmental issues to government and the private sector.

• To act as implementing agent in the solution of national and global environmental issues.

• To organise and conduct symposia, conferences and train personnel from both public and private sectors in environmental management and research.

Core Activities

Consultancy, education, training & information services on environmental issues, analytical laboratory and environmental monitoring services, networking with centres / organisations / individuals with similar interest.
